Unfortunately, we have closed down our physical office to respect the government's attempts to slow down the spread of COVID-19.  However! Psychotherapy is still being provided via tele-counselling (phone or video sessions) through Jacie Bilton’s practice. New clients are welcome!

During times of heightened stress, we continually place our own mental health at the bottom of

our list of priorities. When our mental health is poor, the effect on our physical health is vast. Our sleep becomes disrupted, the digestive system is thrown off, and our IMMUNE system becomes compromised! Now, more than ever, it is essential that we include our mental health in the list of things we are prioritizing, along with proper hand-washing hygiene, social distancing, and maintaining normal purchasing patterns at our grocery stores and pharmacies.

There are so many factors about this pandemic that we cannot control, it makes it almost impossible to come up with the things we CAN control! Among other things, we can continue to shift our emotional state by doing things like limiting social media, turning off the news, staying connected with loved ones through phone or video platforms (i.e. FaceTime, Skype, Facebook Messenger) and taking care of ourselves (i.e connecting with nature, cooking healthy meals, engaging in relaxing activities).

It’s time to prioritize you again.
