We hope you have been staying healthy and creating new positive memories with friends and family through this pandemic that has wreaked havoc on our society. Being isolated from loved ones, whether in America, the UK, or even within Canada, has been difficult for all of us and it is important to remember that we are each doing the very best we can to cope in our own ways. We have slowly been returning to in-person psychotherapy, but it will look a little different for the foreseeable future. Jacie will continue offering tele-health services to all who are interested. These sessions will be offered on Tuesdays between the hours of 8 and 6 depending on your need. She will be in her physical office August 1st on Wednesday mornings and Fridays only. In office appointments will be spaced 25 minutes apart to allow for adequate cleaning between clients and to ensure public spaces are clear of clients from previous sessions. As such, availability for appointments is limited. Appointment times are as follows: Wednesday 8:30am, 9:45am, and 11:00am Friday 8:30am, 9:45am, 11:00am, 12:15pm, 1:30pm, 2:45pm, and 4pm.

New protocols are also in place to ensure the safety of all of Jacie's clients, as well as herself. Prior to your appointment, you will receive an email to screen for COVID19 symptoms. You must respond to each question as well as provide a current temperature measure (to ensure you do not have a fever). Jacie will also perform the same protective measures each day to ensure your health. Clients must arrive at exactly their appointment time and text when they have arrived. Jacie will meet them at the door to the building. All parties must wear a mask while travelling through the building (if you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you). Prior to entering the office, you will sanitize your hands. The office space has been rearranged to ensure maximum distance between the seats (approximately 7.5 feet). At this point, masks may be removed until the end of session when you must travel back through the hallways and out of the building.

These are crazy times and we have to do what we can to protect each other and our loved ones from this novel virus. If you have any questions or concerns about Jacie's protocols or like to schedule an appointment (virtual or in-person), please contact her by email or phone.

Stay safe and healthy!
